Host Preference Management
The ability to set host preferences for existing accounts has been requested several times by customers. Currently, the default preferences can be changed that are only used for new accounts. As a part of that process, existing accounts can also be updated. The method has been changed to separate these functions. There will be two links available to the administrator. One link changes the default preferences for new accounts and the other allows the selection and update of preferences for existing accounts, as seen below:
Edit Preference Exceptions
When editing a Class of Service (COS), the administrator can specify the ability for hosts and/or delegates to edit preferences. The ability to control exactly which preferences can be edited has been added. When editing the COS with the allow preference option set to ‘No’, a link appears which allow the administrator to select the individual preference that is an exception. The "Exceptions" link is not visible when the option is set to ‘Yes’ and all preferences are editable.
The administrator may select preferences that ARE allowed to be edited. By selecting the check box next to each preference, the administrator unlocks it for that particular host. When a host or delegate displays the preferences from the ‘My Conferences’ page, or from ‘Custom Settings’ for a meeting, only the preferences that are allowed to be edited are displayed and those which are not allowed will appear in grey.

Host Conference Greetings and Branding Prompts
A conference greeting is a recording that is played to all participants just prior to joining the conference. A host can now record and keep a conference greeting to personalize conference intro or 'welcome' prompts. These greetings can be used for just one meeting or all of the hosts’ meetings. The greeting can be enabled or disabled by the host at any time without having to re-record. Host greetings are now stored in the database for tower compatibility.
In addition, if a host also has Conference Admin rights, the host may record the branding prompts via the telephone. The branding prompts are for the tenant in which the host is a member. Branding prompts include the welcome greeting and the Blastdial greeting in both English and Spanish.
Note: *6 is still used by the Host to access the Greetings management IVR.
