Sonexis Surfs The Telecom Wave Into IP Conferencing Pipeline
Sonexis ConferenceManager Now Available with Multi-Tenant Capabilities; New Version Supports Shared Service Model of Service Providers and Building Managers, as Well as Departmental Needs of Global 2000 Companies
TEWKSBURY, Mass-Sept. 19, 2005-Sonexis, Inc. (www.sonexis.com) has added multi-tenant capabilities to Sonexis(TM) ConferenceManager 6.0, the newest version of the company's award-winning, premises-based audio and web conferencing system.
With the addition of multi-tenant capabilities, Sonexis ConferenceManager 6.0 enables service providers, building managers and Global 2000 companies to maintain multiple accounts on the same server for easier bill back, greater security and better utilization of their overall, enterprise-wide conferencing infrastructure.
"Sonexis ConferenceManager provides service providers and building managers with a robust audio and web conferencing system for their customers that supports the shared services model of these organizations," commented Dan Massiello, president and CEO of Sonexis. "From a corporate, enterprise-wide perspective, the new capabilities address the need among Global 2000 companies to departmentalize to appropriately track activity and billing. This release significantly broadens our reach into the conferencing and collaboration market and provides our resellers the opportunity to extend the offering into the service provider and building management/shared services markets. For service providers, our pricing allows them to purchase a conferencing platform at very competitive prices compared to current options in the market."
The multi-tenant feature allows Sonexis ConferenceManager 6.0 to set up logical users groups. The system can be provisioned to handle up to 100 tenant accounts or groups. Each group has a group-specific view of the system, including access to a global address book for easy management of scheduled and spontaneous conference calls. The addition of corporate branding, customized e-mail conference invitations and tenant-specific reporting allows each group to utilize Sonexis ConferenceManager 6.0 on their own terms. The system provides each tenant account with a unique dial-in number, calling number ID (ANI), direct inward dial number (DID) and URL.
Sonexis' premises-based audio and web conferencing solution, Sonexis ConferenceManager, is installed at more than 200 customer sites, representing tens of thousands of conferencing seats currently in use.
